Summit was looking to improve to 8 wins by dispatching the Rams at home and much like the prior match versus Plainfield, SHS took control of the match from the service line and made quick work of the Rams.
Game 1s 25-7 score was indicative of how well the team served and attacked in game 1. With the score 17-7, Katie Samay stepped up and served up 8 service points to seal the game 25-7.
Game 2 was more of the same as Summit jumped out to a 12-5 lead and extended it to 19-8 2 rotations later. But credit to the Roselle squad, they kept fighting the inevitable and struck for 5 points to pull within 6 at 19-13. Summit outscored Roselle 6-5 the rest of the way to close out the game and match 25-18.
