FARMERS TAME SHS IN SEASON OPENER; JV STUNS FAVORED FARMERS IN 3

Summit played Union for their season opening 2017 match looking for a win against this divisional favorite. Hilltoppers were very competitive and fought Union to a tight 25-21, set 1 loss which was decided by a few errors by the Maroon and White from the service line.

Second set fell apart for the Hilltoppers as they lost set 2 by a 25-9 score due to serve receive and serving issues that plagued the team throughout.

Captain Taylor Thompson and middle blocker Georgia Inggs led the Hilltoppers with 4 kills apiece in the loss.

The team looked to right the ship vs. Rahway in their season opener the following match.
